Daniel Shawn Otis writes about bad decisions, chance encounters and the tapestry of human strangeness. He has a degree in political science and philosophy from the University of Toronto and is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in creative writing at the University of British Columbia. The White Elephant of Attapeu will be his first novel.
